Not to mention they have multiple academies in Australia so you will be set. It is without a doubt one of those places that you must visit if you are a hardcore or even casual learner of BJJ.

Not to be mistaken with Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy. Sydney Jiu Jitsu Academy is a rapidly growing BJJ academies that currently has 10 academies all around the Sydney area. The academy is led by Bruno Alves who is a 3rd degree black belt and former three time BJJ world champion, along with top tier assistant instructors. On a bit unrelated note the academy has a great website that includes information about pricing, Something that a lot of BJJ academies do not provide publicly.
The facilities in each academies are quite great, but as expected the best one is located on the academy headquarters. Do not let this stop you from visiting other branch academies because it is just too good to pass up
Each of the academies also have different websites so if you’re looking to find an academy nearest to you it will be very convenient. To conclude, Sydney Jiu Jitsu Academy is a safe bet if you’re looking for a great roll and authentic BJJ experience.
If you are looking for the most challenging BJJ experience then you will need to visit Gracie Barra. The great Carlos Gracie Jr personally developed the academies program, Professor Marcelo Rezende is the head coach and he is a 4th degree BJJ black belt under Carlos Gracie Jr himself. Along with his talent filled instructor team, you will be receiving the most authentic BJJ teachings that you’ll ever find.
The academies has a lot of mat space (as they should) and other BJJ related facilities is considered to be the best in the area. Sadly there is no price information on their website besides a free trial contact form. You will need to take the free trial and ask about the price yourself.

Pacheco Jiu Jitsu
Pacheco Jiu Jitsu is one of the most unique BJJ academies that you can find. Because the academy limits the classes to just 20 people maximum according to their page. They also provides and show their pricing options (which is very reasonable). Professor Diogener Pacheco is the head instructor there and he is a BJJ black belt under the great Luz “Guigo” Guilherme. The academy run classes Monday through Saturday so you’ll be set whenever you decided to visit (Don’t go on Sunday though). Looking at their timetable the academy also provides kids and girls only classes. Combine that with the limited maximum students per class, you’ll definitely get the best bang for your buck in technique and personal attention if you decided to visit Pacheco Jiu Jitsu

Team Perosh (aka SPMA)
If you are from Australia and a fan of combat sport, you must have heard the name Anthony Perosh. He is a former UFC fighter who is also a 4th degree BJJ black belt under the great Carlos Machado. Anthony has competed in the famous ADCC competition 5 times and won numerous medals in BJJ competitions. He has a professional MMA record of 15 wins and 10 losses. Anthony retired in 2016 to focus on teaching martial arts in his academy named Team Perosh MMA
Obviously the academy teach different kinds of martial arts such as MMA and Muay Thai, but Team Perosh also has a great BJJ team, they have BJJ classes from Monday to Saturday and also kids/womens only class.
The academies facility is what you can expect from a high level fighter such as Anthony Perosh. However there is no pricing options to join the classes so you have to ask the academies directly.
Whether you are looking to permanently moves to Sydney or just visiting for a couple of days, there is no reason (or excuses) to not continue training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
