Three Basic BJJ Leg Locks

  1. Achilles Lock

This lock is straight to the very first leg lock that you will learn in bjj. This lock is always been introduced for the newbie learners as a submission movement because it is relatively simple for the new learners. Starting from straight lock ankle which requires you to circle your forearm or what people know as over hook one of your enemy’s legs, specifically at the ankle. Pressing your foot against your enemy’s rib cage along with using the pressure generated while doing an upward force using your forearm at your enemy’s Achilles heel secures this lock.

  1. The Twister

There are some bjj movements that we must learn and memorize. We could not move or spin randomly. What existed is even our position could be increasingly cornered.
